Choosing between the H-20E and H-19E comes down to whether the facility can accommodate the extra inch of apron width — the H-20E covers slightly more floor per pass, while the H-19E at 107 lbs is marginally lighter, which matters only on ramps or stairs during transport. In terms of cleaning performance on flat floors, both machines run the same motor at the same speed.

Dual-Capacitor Motor and Triple-Planetary Gearbox at 20" Scale

The same motor and gearbox platform used in the H-21E powers the H-20E. The dual-capacitor A/C motor's run capacitor keeps the motor's power factor corrected under load, which matters most during stripping — where the pad encounters maximum resistance from the finish layer and the gearbox must sustain full torque for the duration of each pass. The triple-planetary gearbox distributes that torque evenly to the 20" pad, so pressure remains consistent across the full pad area rather than concentrating at the center. At 108 lbs on a 20" pad, the H-20E produces slightly higher pounds-per-square-inch than the 21" model, which can improve single-pass effectiveness on thick or old finish layers.
