Pressure Washer Guns and Wands for Daily Commercial Use

The gun is the only part of the machine an operator holds all day, and it is the part that takes the abuse. It gets dropped on concrete, left in the rain, and cycled thousands of times per shift. When a trigger gun starts weeping at the handle or fails to shut off cleanly, the fix is replacement, not repair. This range covers trigger guns, stainless steel lances, and complete gun and lance assemblies with quick connects fitted.

Buy the Assembly When the Gun Is Already Worn

Guns and lances are sold separately and as assemblies. Replacing only the gun on a machine whose lance is already pitted or bent means going back for the lance a month later, and every extra joint is a place to leak. Where both are worn, a gun and lance assembly with quick connects already installed goes on faster and leaks less. Stainless lances in 48" are the common commercial length, long enough for reach without becoming unwieldy overhead.

Pressure and Temperature Ratings Are Not Interchangeable

A gun rated for a 3000 PSI cold water machine will not survive on a 5000 PSI hot water unit. Temperature rating matters as much as pressure: hot water attacks seals that are fine on cold, and a cold-rated gun on a hot machine fails at the trigger seal, usually while someone is holding it. Check both numbers against the machine before ordering, and remember that brass fittings on some couplers are cold-water-only.

Quick Connects Save Time and Create Failure Points

Quick connect couplers let an operator swap nozzles, add a surface cleaner, or change lances without tools, which is why nearly every commercial setup uses them. They also introduce two more o-rings into the high pressure path. Keep spare o-rings on the shelf, replace them at the first sign of a drip rather than after, and make sure the plug and socket are the same standard before assuming a mismatch is a faulty part.

High pressure water can inject through skin without breaking it visibly, and an injection injury is a surgical emergency rather than a cut to clean up later. A gun with a failed trigger lock or a worn safety catch should come out of service the day it is noticed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I replace the gun or the whole gun and lance assembly?
If the lance is pitted, bent or leaking at the joint, replace both as an assembly. Each extra connection is another potential leak, and an assembly with quick connects already fitted installs faster.
Can I use a cold water gun on a hot water pressure washer?
No. Hot water degrades seals that are rated for cold only, and the usual failure point is the trigger seal while the gun is in someone's hand. Match both the pressure and temperature rating to the machine.
What length lance should I use?
48 inches is the common commercial length. It gives useful reach without being tiring to hold overhead. Shorter lances suit close detail work; extensions exist for second-storey and ceiling work.
Why is my trigger gun leaking at the handle?
Usually a worn trigger seal from cycle count rather than a defect. Trigger guns are wear items on daily-use machines. A gun that weeps under pressure or will not shut off cleanly should be replaced rather than rebuilt.

Brio Air Filtration = Game Changer

Located in the Twin Cities in Minnesota, we acquired our Brio Air Filter in mid-late Spring of this year (2023) when pollen count was high and we were beginning to experience the effects of Poor Air Quality Index as a result of smoke particulates from fires in Canada that caused the air in much of Minnesota to become hazy and simply dirty.

It is so easy to share our experience with the Brio Air Filter given how quickly and efficiently it removed pollen, dust, and smoke particles from the environment inside our home. Two people in our home who suffer from pollen-related allergies during the spring immediately experienced easier breathing and elimination of symptoms within the house. With respect to smoke particulates from Canada drifting into our environment, EVERYONE in our home experienced directly improved breathing and smell of the air when entering from outside.

An additional piece of information to account for is that we have always employed high grade furnace filters in our home’s central HVAC system. With that high grade filtration in place both prior to and after acquiring a Brio home air filter, we all quickly agreed that deploying the Brio in our home made an easily noticeable positive difference in breathing inside our home. Additionally, those of us who clean our home have observed that dust builds up slower on our floors and furniture than before we deployed the Brio unit.

We did note that the Brio is not as quiet as a few other brands/models on the market that we have tried in our home but the efficiency and quality of the filtration, along with the air turnover rate it provides,allows us to locate the Brio unit in central rooms away from the bedrooms. Since we made that change there has been no noise-related effect on our sleep, while the unit maintains the same level of air cleanliness throughout our home.

A last key point to make is how easy the Brio unit is to maintain. The simplicity of the modular construction of the Brio unit makes it very quick and easy to keep the filtration sections clean. We have not yet reached a point of filter replacement but it is obvious to us that the replacement will take a matter of seconds and can be executed by anyone in our home, including our 10-year-old son.
