The Abatement Technologies HEPA-AIRE PAS1200 is the standard model in the PAS line — the version without UV but with the same proven four-stage filtration stack, 900-watt impeller, and stainless steel cabinet that abatement contractors and restoration companies have relied on for decades. It runs from 300 to 900 CFM on variable speed, handles negative-pressure containment on jobs from single rooms to floor-wide remediation zones, and daisy-chains up to four units per 15-amp circuit. PAS1200 Filtration Performance and Airflow
The four-stage stack is designed so each upstream filter protects the next downstream filter, extending HEPA life and reducing total filter costs per job.
- Stage 1 — 1" FIBER-TRAPPER (MERV 4) — washable and reusable; traps coarse particles and extends Stage 2 filter life
- Stage 2 — 2" pleated pre-filter (MERV 8) — captures medium particles, significantly reducing HEPA loading rate
