PAS1200 provides HEPA air filtration for restoration and abatement contractors, healthcare construction crews, and facility managers. It has a stainless-steel housing and ducting options for negative pressure, positive pressure, or recirculation, depending on the work zone.

How many units can I daisy-chain on one 15-amp circuit?

The PAS1200 includes a GFCI-protected duplex receptacle for daisy-chaining. A total of three PAS1200 units, including the unit plugged into the wall receptacle, can be daisy-chained on a 15-amp circuit. The National Electrical Code limits the total draw on a 120 V/15 A circuit to 12 amps (80% of full load).

How long does the motor in the PAS1200 last under continuous use?

The high-efficiency airfoil-type motorized impeller is rated for 100,000 hours of operation. It includes thermal overload protection with automatic reset, so if the motor overheats it shuts off and restarts automatically without manual intervention.

What filtration stages does the PAS1200 include, and in what order?

The PAS1200 ships with three stages: Stage 1 is a 1" F621 FIBER-TRAPPER coarse pre-filter (MERV 4), Stage 2 is a 2" H502 pleated particulate pre-filter (MERV 8), and the final stage is an H610C-99 HEPA filter tested and certified to 99.97% efficiency at 0.3 microns. An optional 2" VL1002 VAPOR-LOCK carbon filter (MERV 7, purchased separately) can replace the Stage 2 pre-filter for gas and odor adsorption.
