Airgle AG900 Air Purifier – 400 CFM, cHEPA + UV-C, 1,234 sq ft

The Airgle AG900 is a 400 CFM commercial air purifier combining a 40 sq ft cHEPA filter with a Titanium Pro UV-C module. It is one of three Airgle models cleared by the FDA as a Class II medical ultraviolet air purifier under 510(k) K232645. It covers 1,234 sq ft at 2.5 air changes per hour, or 617 sq ft at 5 ACH.

AG900 commercial air purifier: 400 CFM with cHEPA and UV-C for large rooms

The AG900 is the high-capacity unit in Airgle's line. It moves 400 CFM of maximum rated airflow through 40 sq ft of cHEPA media, with CADR of 398 CFM smoke, 400 CFM dust, and 379 CFM pollen on the factory product sheet. That is twice the AG600's airflow, which is why facilities pick it when one unit has to cover a full treatment area or an open-plan floor.

AG900 performance and filter stack

Same four-stage architecture as the AG600 (prefilter, carbon, cHEPA, Titanium Pro UV) in a larger chassis, with 40 sq ft of cHEPA media instead of 26 and double the carbon.

• 400 CFM maximum rated airflow. CADR reads 398 CFM smoke, 400 CFM dust, and 379 CFM pollen on the factory product sheet.
• 40 sq ft of cHEPA media. Airgle rates the cHEPA at 99.999% at 0.003 microns.
• 4.4 lbs of activated carbon. Double the AG600's charge, for large open offices, chemical environments, or several off-gassing sources at once.
• Titanium Pro UV-C module. Germicidal UV-C near 254 nm, using Airgle's patented photocatalytic oxidation design (US 8,557,188 B2). Airgle rates bacteria removal at 99.9999%.
• 33 dBA on low, 69 dBA at maximum. BLDC motor, five fan speeds.
• Smart Cloud multi-device management. Run and monitor multiple units across a facility from one dashboard, on iOS or Android.

AG900 applications and sizing

Hospitals, dental clinics, large classrooms, corporate open floors, and lobbies are the usual placements. Size by air changes per hour: 1,234 sq ft at 2.5 ACH, 617 sq ft at 5 ACH, both at the manufacturer's assumed ceiling height of roughly 7.8 ft. Rooms with 9 or 10 ft ceilings need proportionally less floor area per unit. Commercial-grade casters move the 55-lb unit between rooms.

AG900 clearance, build, and what ships

FDA cleared the Airgle Room Air Purifier as a Class II medical ultraviolet air purifier on February 16, 2024 under 510(k) K232645, for inactivation of indoor airborne aerosols including bacteria and viruses in medical facilities and occupied spaces. In the testing submitted to FDA, the AG900 achieved greater than 4-log reduction of MS2 bacteriophage entrained on the filter after 120 minutes at fan speed 5. The clearance covers UV-C inactivation. It does not certify filtration efficiency, CADR, or coverage figures, which come from Airgle.

Aluminum housing and aluminum internal filter frames. Rated power is 120W at 100–120V / 50–60Hz. Cloud management logs air quality over time. Warranty runs five years for non-commercial use and two years for commercial use. The box holds the AG900, cHEPA filter, carbon filter, Titanium Pro UV module, a remote with its CR2032 battery, four casters, and the owner's manual.
