AG600 Room Air Purifier — Hospital-Grade cHEPA for Spaces Up to 1,050 sq ft
Standard HEPA captures 99.97% of particles at 0.3 microns. The Airgle AG600 goes 100 times further — capturing 99.999% at 0.003 microns with its cleanroom-grade cHEPA filter, a 26 sq ft extended filter surface that provides substantially more filtration area than standard cylindrical HEPA units. Add 3.5 lbs of premium activated carbon, Titanium Pro UV photocatalytic oxidation down to 0.01 microns, and Wi-Fi smart control via iOS/Android, and the AG600 covers 1,050 sq ft with the filtration technology used in FDA-registered medical devices.
AG600 cHEPA Performance and Filter Stack
The cHEPA filter's 26 sq ft surface area is the key differentiator — more filter area means lower pressure drop, quieter operation at equivalent airflow, and longer filter life between replacements compared to compact standard HEPA units.
cHEPA at 99.999% efficiency (0.003 microns) — 100x more efficient than standard HEPA; captures nanoparticles, viruses, and ultra-fine combustion particles
26 sq ft filter area — extended surface reduces pressure drop and fan noise; runs quieter at equivalent airflow to standard HEPA
3.5 lbs premium activated carbon — removes VOCs, formaldehyde, and persistent odors; heavier than most residential units
Titanium Pro UV-C module — patented photocatalytic oxidation neutralizes pathogens down to 0.01 microns including mold spores and certain viruses
33 dB on low speed — library-quiet; suitable for continuous overnight operation in bedrooms and occupied clinical spaces
Auto mode with real-time air quality adjustment — PM2.5 sensor adjusts fan speed automatically; reduces energy use during clean air periods
AG600 Applications and Environments
Medical and dental offices where infection control is a compliance requirement trust the AG600's FDA-registered device pedigree — the cHEPA technology is the same used in hospital-grade air management. Schools and classrooms covering 800–1,050 sq ft use it for pathogen protection during occupied hours, with auto mode maintaining filtration without staff attention. Large residential living spaces and open floor plans benefit from the 1,050 sq ft coverage at one air change per hour; for allergy management at higher ACH, effective coverage drops to around 500–600 sq ft. Office conference rooms and executive suites run it continuously without noise complaints at low speed.
AG600 CADR Rating and Filter Stack
CADR data: Smoke 398 CFM / Dust 400 CFM / Pollen 379 CFM (see AG900 specs for reference; AG600 CADR not independently published). Energy Star certified for low operating cost. Wi-Fi connectivity allows remote monitoring and scheduling via iOS/Android app. Box includes: AG600 unit, cHEPA filter, carbon filter, Titanium Pro UV module, remote control with battery, 4 casters, and owner's manual — no additional purchases required to begin operation.

Airgle AG600 Air Purifier – cHEPA 99.999%, 3.5 lb Carbon,...
What is cHEPA and how does it differ from standard HEPA?
cHEPA (composite HEPA) captures 99.999% of particles at 0.003 microns — 100 times finer than standard HEPA's 99.97% at 0.3 microns. The 26 sq ft filter surface also provides lower pressure drop and quieter operation at equivalent airflow compared to compact standard HEPA filter cylinders.
What room size does the AG600 effectively cover?
The AG600 covers up to 1,050 sq ft at 1 air change per hour. For allergy management or infection control where 5 ACH is recommended, effective coverage is approximately 210 sq ft. Most applications fall between these extremes — 2–3 ACH for occupied commercial spaces gives roughly 350–525 sq ft of effective coverage.
How quiet is the AG600 on low speed?
On low speed, the AG600 operates at 33 dB(A) — quieter than a whisper. The extended cHEPA filter surface allows lower fan speed for equivalent airflow, which is the primary reason for the low noise floor versus compact units.
What does the Titanium Pro UV-C module do?
The Titanium Pro module uses photocatalytic oxidation (UV light hitting a titanium dioxide catalyst) to destroy pathogens at the molecular level — effective on bacteria, mold spores, and certain viruses down to 0.01 microns. It works in addition to the cHEPA particle capture, not as a replacement for it.
Is the AG600 an FDA-registered medical device?
Yes. Airgle air purifiers carry FDA Class II medical device registration. The AG600 uses the same cHEPA and UV-C technology deployed in hospital air management systems globally.
What is included in the box with the AG600?
The AG600 ships with the unit, cHEPA filter installed, carbon filter installed, Titanium Pro UV module, remote control with battery, 4 casters, and owner's manual. No additional filter purchases are needed to begin operation immediately.

Located in the Twin Cities in Minnesota, we acquired our Brio Air Filter in mid-late Spring of this year (2023) when pollen count was high and we were beginning to experience the effects of Poor Air Quality Index as a result of smoke particulates from fires in Canada that caused the air in much of Minnesota to become hazy and simply dirty.
It is so easy to share our experience with the Brio Air Filter given how quickly and efficiently it removed pollen, dust, and smoke particles from the environment inside our home. Two people in our home who suffer from pollen-related allergies during the spring immediately experienced easier breathing and elimination of symptoms within the house. With respect to smoke particulates from Canada drifting into our environment, EVERYONE in our home experienced directly improved breathing and smell of the air when entering from outside.
An additional piece of information to account for is that we have always employed high grade furnace filters in our home’s central HVAC system. With that high grade filtration in place both prior to and after acquiring a Brio home air filter, we all quickly agreed that deploying the Brio in our home made an easily noticeable positive difference in breathing inside our home. Additionally, those of us who clean our home have observed that dust builds up slower on our floors and furniture than before we deployed the Brio unit.
We did note that the Brio is not as quiet as a few other brands/models on the market that we have tried in our home but the efficiency and quality of the filtration, along with the air turnover rate it provides, allows us to locate the Brio unit in central rooms away from the bedrooms. Since we made that change there has been no noise-related effect on our sleep, while the unit maintains the same level of air cleanliness throughout our home.
A last key point to make is how easy the Brio unit is to maintain. The simplicity of the modular construction of the Brio unit makes it very quick and easy to keep the filtration sections clean. We have not yet reached a point of filter replacement but it is obvious to us that the replacement will take a matter of seconds and can be executed by anyone in our home, including our 10-year-old son.
It seems to help reduce my allergy issues. We're glad we bought it. The only problem I had was not seeing any cubic footage recommendations in the online description when purchasing the unit. Bedrooms vary widely in size!!
