WFP450+ Rapid RH L6 kit measures moisture in concrete and wood and records room conditions for flooring jobs. The Total Reader reads concrete RH and temperature from the L6 Smart Sensors. The Orion 950 measures wood moisture and calculates equilibrium moisture content, while two Smart Logger V2 recorders track ambient conditions. The instruments fit in a hard-shell ABS case with a foam-padded interior. The case also holds the insertion tool, wire brush, vacuum attachment and 3/4 in SDS masonry drill bit.
WFP450+ Rapid RH L6 Concrete, Wood and Air Readings
The L6 system is built for ASTM F2170 in-situ RH testing. Sensors give readings after 24 hours of acclimation. Each instrument reports to its own free app.
- Concrete RH and Temperature — Touch-n-Sense takes readings when the Total Reader touches a Smart Sensor.
- Concrete Reading History — 5 Bluetooth DataGrabbers store time-stamped readings in the sensor memory at your chosen interval and upload them to the DataMaster L6 app.
- Pinless Wood Readings — the Orion 950 reads 0.25 in or 0.75 in deep, covers 4.0% to 32.0% MC by species setting and calculates EMC, dew point and grains per pound.
- Ambient Readings — each Smart Logger V2 stores 16,384 readings and sends them to the free Wagner Sentry app over Bluetooth 5.0.
- Job Reports — DataMaster L6 stores data and builds reports; the Orion 950 stores 100 readings and sends them to the FloorSmart and Woodshop MC apps.
WFP450+ Rapid RH L6 Applications for Flooring Installers
Flooring installers use the WFP450+ Rapid RH L6 kit to document slab RH before gluing down resilient, wood or tile floors in schools, offices and retail stores. On hardwood jobs, the Orion 950 compares board moisture with the room's EMC. Its relative mode checks drywall, plywood, OSB and MDF, and the included On-Demand Calibrator lets you check the Orion in the field. Facility managers and building inspectors can use the Smart Loggers to record ambient conditions. The infrared thermometer measures slab surface temperature. Each logger reads 0 to 100% RH at ±1.5% RH and ±0.1 °C, and transmits up to 150 ft (46 meters).
