The Tornado BD 20/11LT (model TS120-S53-UC) is a 24V traction-drive disc scrubber that cleans a 20-inch path at up to 18,837 ft² per hour on lead-acid power. A self-propelled drive motor carries the machine at 48.5 lbs of brush pressure and 155 RPM, with an 11-gallon solution tank and 12-gallon recovery tank that scrub and dry in one pass. At 43 by 21 by 41 inches it clears standard doorways, so it works in schools, hospitals, supermarkets, and similar mid-size hard-floor accounts.

Who the BD 20/11LT Is For
Pick the traction-drive LT for long routes and floors with ramps, where a drive motor that pulls the machine forward spares the operator from pushing 350 pounds. That sets it apart from the brush-assist BD 20/11L, which the operator has to push. Staying under 70 dB, it also handles daytime cleaning in occupied buildings.
How the Brush Deck, Tanks, and Battery Work
A 0.46 hp disc deck presses at 48.5 lbs and turns at 155 RPM to break up soil, then the 0.6 hp vacuum and 31-inch squeegee recover the water at 50 inches of lift so floors dry behind you. The 11-gallon solution tank and 12-gallon recovery tank stretch the time between refills.
This build runs on a 24V lead-acid battery with an on-board charger, good for 3 to 4 hours per charge. Lead-acid keeps the upfront cost down where crews can water the cells on a regular schedule.
