The 97564B covers 20% more floor area per pass than the 17-inch 97562B using the same 1.5 HP motor and triple planetary gear system. For large open floors — school gymnasiums, hospital corridors, government lobbies — the 20-inch path reduces total pass count and shift time meaningfully. Both use 175 RPM for scrubbing, stripping, and spray buffing. The 75-foot cord reaches across most large rooms without an extension on a standard 20-amp circuit. For confined areas with frequent directional changes, the 17-inch 97562B's narrower profile is easier to maneuver.
