The Sandia 10-0868 is a 1/4" female quick disconnect (QD) fitting for Sandia Sniper carpet extractors. Quick disconnect fittings are the connection points between the machine's pump output and the solution hoses or wand — they allow tool changes without tools and without shutting down the pump. When a QD fitting cracks, leaks at the connection point, or fails to hold pressure, replacing with this OEM part restores a leak-free, secure connection at full operating pressure.
10-0868 Fitting Size, Connection Type, and Sniper Fit
1/4" female QD fittings are a standard industrial quick connect size, but the Sandia-specific geometry ensures a leak-free interface with the Sniper's pump output and hose connections. Using aftermarket QD fittings with different internal geometry creates micro-leaks at pressure that waste solution and reduce effective PSI at the wand.
