The Pure Water Power 272-27-09 is the entry-point commercial package — a single-membrane RO/DI system (0.5 to 1 GPM at 50 PSI) paired with the 50-foot Kevlar pole (7.2 lbs, 9 sections). Designed for low to moderate TDS source water where a single RO membrane provides sufficient mineral removal before the DI stage. The system dimensions are 50" × 20" × 15" and weighs 75 lbs. Single RO/DI vs. Double RO/DI: Which System Fits

The single RO/DI system produces 0.5 to 1 GPM — half the maximum flow of the Double RO/DI. For operators who clean one window at a time on a residential or light commercial route, 0.5 to 1 GPM is sufficient flow for standard 4-pencil-jet brush operation. In low-TDS water areas (under 150 ppm), the single RO membrane removes enough minerals before the DI stage that DI resin lasts longer between replacements — reducing per-gallon operating cost. The Double RO/DI is the better choice for high-TDS areas or operators who need to supply two poles simultaneously.

What is the difference between the Single RO/DI and Double RO/DI systems?

The Single RO/DI uses one 40-inch RO membrane and produces 0.5 to 1 GPM at 50 PSI. The Double RO/DI uses two 40-inch RO membranes in parallel and produces 1 to 1.75 GPM. The Double RO/DI also uses a 10-inch DI cartridge in the base model. Choose Single RO/DI for lower-TDS water and single-operator cleaning; choose Double RO/DI for higher flow needs or two-operator use.

Is 0.5 to 1 GPM sufficient for commercial window cleaning?

Yes — for single-operator cleaning with a standard 4-pencil-jet brush, 0.5 GPM is enough for continuous scrubbing and rinsing. Higher flow rates reduce time per window but are not required for the cleaning process itself.

In what TDS conditions does the Single RO/DI perform best?

The single membrane handles low to moderate TDS source water effectively — typically up to 300-400 ppm. Above 400 ppm, the Double RO/DI's two membranes handle the higher mineral load more efficiently and extend DI resin life.

Does the 272-27-09 include everything needed to start cleaning?
