Prolux PLC13: a 13 inch orbit buffer for floors a 15 inch machine cannot reach

Plenty of commercial floors are not open floors. Restrooms, galley kitchens, corridors lined with lockers and small retail units are where a wider buffer stops being usable and the work reverts to hand scrubbing. The PLC13 is the same random orbit machine in a 13 inch path, which is the size that still gets between fixtures and through tight doorways.

The PLC13 belongs where floor area is broken up by fixtures: restaurant and bar floors, commercial kitchens, restrooms, convenience stores, pharmacies, salons, clinics and small retail units. Contractors also carry it alongside a wider machine as the detail buffer, so the open floor is done fast and the perimeter and small rooms still get machine-scrubbed rather than mopped. It handles tile, vinyl, terrazzo, sealed concrete and finished wood, and the orbit action makes it safe on the delicate surfaces where a rotary would leave marks. Where a building mixes open floor with small rooms, pairing this with a wider machine usually costs less than trying to make one deck size do both jobs. The orbit action is also the safer choice on a crew that turns over often.
