The NM2000 is the 2000 RPM configuration of Powr-Flite's Millennium Edition burnisher line — a belt-drive machine with a 1.5 HP motor, 20" flexible pad driver, and 16 lbs of pad pressure that covers 26,000 sq ft/hr. Built and tested by hand in the USA, it uses the same patented balanced housing as the NM1600, maintaining full pad-to-floor contact without a compensating caster, while spinning at a higher speed for aggressive gloss restoration on dull or scuffed floor finishes.

The belt drive transmission absorbs torque spikes that a direct-drive system at this RPM would transmit as vibration to the handle, maintaining operator comfort on extended runs. The NM1600 at 1600 RPM is for routine maintenance on well-maintained finishes — lower heat, longer coating life between strip-and-recoat cycles. The NM2000 is for restoration burnishing on dull floors where maximum gloss yield per pass matters more than finish longevity. The NM2000DC adds a dust control skirt that captures pad-generated particles, making it the right choice for occupied buildings and indoor air quality programs. The NM2000 is appropriate for after-hours burnishing runs where dust control is managed by ventilation rather than vacuum capture.
