The C202 is Powr-Flite's 20" dual-speed Classic line floor machine — the all-metal-housing counterpart to the NM202 Millennium Edition. It runs 175 RPM for stripping, scrubbing, and shampooing, and 320 RPM for spray buffing and polishing, from a 1.5 HP motor with a triple planetary gearbox, in a high-polish chrome metal housing that resists chips and corrosion. Assembled in Texas. Pad driver sold separately.

All-Metal Build for Chemical-Exposure Environments
The C202's chrome metal housing resists chemical corrosion from floor stripper overspray and cleaning solution contact — an important factor in environments where the floor machine is stored alongside liquid chemicals or used in chemical-heavy stripping operations. At 105 lbs the C202 is 5 lbs lighter than the NM202's 110 lbs, despite using metal instead of polyethylene, because the chrome-form housing is shaped differently than the molded poly body. The triple planetary gearbox provides the same sustained torque under load as the NM202. At 175 RPM the C202 strips and scrubs; at 320 RPM it spray buffs and polishes — a full-care machine without a second machine purchase. Compatible with 18" brushes in addition to 20" pads, adding brush-scrubbing capability for textured floors and tile grout.
C202 vs. NM202 — Classic Metal vs. Millennium Edition Dual-Speed
The C202 and NM202 both offer 175/320 RPM dual speed, 1.5 HP motor, triple planetary drive, and 20" pad with 50 ft cords. The C202 uses all-chrome metal housing (105 lbs, corrosion-resistant) while the NM202 uses rotationally molded polyethylene (110 lbs, 10-year housing warranty, lower vibration). The C202 does not carry a separate housing warranty, only the 1-year parts-and-labor. For facilities that prioritize chemical exposure resistance over vibration reduction and housing warranty depth, the C202 Classic Metal is the right specification.
