The PHS1VSEHDS pairs the single-piston scaling hammer with a vacuum shroud that captures debris and dust at the head. It drives one tungsten carbide cruciform piston at 2,500 blows per minute, matching the open HD-SH1 impact, while the shroud and port route material to a connected dust collector. The 9-inch handle keeps the tool compact for overhead, vertical, and confined work where dust containment is still required.
VSE Single Short Handle: Compact Dust-Controlled Single-Piston Tool
The shroud surrounds the cruciform head and connects through a port to a vacuum or dust collector, pulling coating debris and abrasive dust away as the piston works. The 9-inch handle, compared with the 18-inch long version, shortens the tool for tank interiors, overhead beams, and other confined positions. The single-piston head stays narrow for edges and detail work, and the screw-top cap and nylon brush seal carry over for field service.

VSE Single Short Handle Applications and Environments
Structural steel: dust-controlled removal of pack rust, laminar rust, and high-build coatings in overhead and confined positions. Marine: strips deck coatings and non-skid inside tanks and tight spaces with debris captured. Concrete: take-down and texturing of slab surfaces with silica dust routed to a collector; aggregate exposure with the optional bush hammer head.
