The Novatek DDS-1 turns a standard rotary or hammer drill into a dust-controlled tool for small-diameter concrete and masonry work. The shroud sits at the bit, captures silica dust at the point of cut, and routes it through a dust port to a connected vacuum so debris never reaches the operator's breathing zone. For contractors drilling anchor holes on occupied or inspected job sites, that means cutting visible airborne dust without changing the drill they already own.
What the DDS-1 Does on Small-Bit Drilling
The DDS-1 is built for 1" class bits used in anchor setting, conduit, and fastener holes. It clamps to the drill with a universal mount, holds against the surface while you drill, and feeds the captured dust straight to a shop or HEPA vacuum. Pair it with a HEPA vacuum and the dust is contained from the first hole through the last.
