Mi-T-M ABS-14K-30H gas air compressor runs on a 429cc Kohler CH440 OHV engine and is the only ABS model with cable throttle idle control. The two-stage cast iron pump sits on a 30-gallon powder coated ASME receiver tank and turns out 29.0 CFM at 175 PSI. Mi-T-M laid it out for trailer or service-truck mounting.
Living With the ABS-14K-30H Day to Day
Idle speed on this Kohler is handled by a throttle cable rather than a pneumatic control. There is no remote start/choke option for this model, so starting happens at the engine's electric start. Battery and cables are not included; if you want them, order AX-0017 or AX-0077 with the unit, because neither can be added afterward.
- Air path: a splash-lubricated pump feeding a stainless-steel braided discharge hose.
- Pressure control: start/stop at 145 to 175 PSI, with a 150-PSI maximum rated regulator and two gauges.
- Mounting: IX-0001 vibration isolator pads for service trucks, a factory-order option.
