The DC-19-1170 runs the same 1.5 HP D/C rectified motor and 19" apron as the DC-19-2000 at a lower burnishing speed of 1170 RPM. The reduced RPM generates less friction heat per pass, which makes this machine the better choice for facilities that burnish daily or multiple times per week where preserving the finish coat over time matters more than achieving the brightest possible gloss on any given pass. The polished aluminum chassis (84 lbs.) provides the machine weight needed for consistent pad-to-floor contact.

The DC-19-1170 and DC-19-2000 have the same 1.5 HP D/C rectified motor and 19" apron. The DC-19-2000 runs faster and includes the front caster assembly. Choose the DC-19-1170 when the floor care program calls for burnishing more than three times per week; choose the DC-19-2000 when maximum gloss output is the priority and burnishing frequency is lower. At 1170 RPM, use white or tan burnishing pads, or natural fiber pads — never scrubbing pads at any high-speed burnishing RPM.
