The Hawk Enterprises Modern HD 17 runs floor-care brushes and pads at 175 RPM and has a listed 17-inch pad size. For crews moving between jobs or sharing equipment storage, the handle detaches for easier transport and storage.
Modern HD 17 Pad Drive and Steel Construction
The Modern HD 17 has welded steel construction and a dual-capacitor AC motor. A triple-planetary drive powers brushes and pads for routine floor care, and a HAWK-Lok pad driver is included.
- The listed pad size is 17-inch, and the machine includes a HAWK-Lok tufted bristle pad driver.
- A 1.5 HP dual-capacitor AC motor provides 175 RPM operation through a triple-planetary HD 10:1 drive.
- The steel handle detaches without tools to help the machine fit into smaller vehicles.
- The Pin-Set lock secures the handle position without a friction handle lock.
- A wraparound bumper surrounds the brush cover to cushion contact.
- The 50 ft. commercial power cord includes a cord lock to secure the connection.

Shipping & Returns

Freight deliveries: inspect your equipment on arrival and note any damage on the delivery receipt. Items damaged in transit or defective on arrival are fully covered at no cost to you.
Cancellations: cancel any time before your order ships. Refunds are issued for the order total minus the non-refundable payment processing fee (2.9% + $0.30), so a cancellation is not always a 100% refund. No fee is deducted if we cancel the order or the item arrives damaged or defective.
