The Hawk Enterprises GRIP17 is a 17-inch resin diamond tool driver for commercial maintenance and polishing of natural stone and concrete. It is specified for severe-duty rotary floor machines and comes with Quick Change Plates for 3-inch round metal, resin or hybrid diamond tools.
Move Between Tool Grades Without Changing Drivers
Change the magnetically retained plates between honing and polishing steps while keeping the same driver.
- Use the same driver from 100-grit honing through 3000-grit hybrid floor pads.
- The included Quick Change Plates have commercial hook facing for round diamond tooling.
- The Mag-Lok industrial magnet system holds the metal 3-inch Quick Change Plates in place.
- The corrosion-resistant resin body can flex where needed on rough floors.
Plates for diamond tools or floor pads
The driver has a milled aluminum clutch plate, and additional Quick Change Plates are available for individual diamond-tool grades. Optional HAWK-Harpoon-facing plates take standard floor pads, sprayed diamond abrasive pads or hybrid floor pads. Check which facing your tooling requires before ordering additional plates.

Shipping & Returns
Free shipping on most brands for orders over $300, delivered to the lower 48 states. Any brand-specific freight rate is shown at checkout before you pay.
Processing & delivery: in-stock orders are processed within 1–2 business days and typically deliver in 5–7 business days. Tracking is emailed within 24 hours of shipment. Built-to-order and backordered equipment shows its lead time on this page.
Freight deliveries: inspect your equipment on arrival and note any damage on the delivery receipt. Items damaged in transit or defective on arrival are fully covered at no cost to you.
Cancellations: cancel any time before your order ships. Refunds are issued for the order total minus the non-refundable payment processing fee (2.9% + $0.30), so a cancellation is not always a 100% refund. No fee is deducted if we cancel the order or the item arrives damaged or defective.
