The Hawk Enterprises HP0017-3 is the 17-inch Orbitec planetary diamond driver for concrete and stone polishing. Its driver diameter is 16.5 inches, and it requires a 1.5 HP severe-duty floor machine operating at 165 RPM.
Keep Diamond Tools Moving in Counter-Rotation
Six independent sealed ball-bearing pedestals hold the diamond tools as they rotate opposite the drive plate.
- The 3-inch tools turn counterclockwise at 400 RPM while the plate turns clockwise at 165 RPM.
- Hook-faced heads hold round tooling with hook-and-loop backing for changes without shop tools.
- The Orbitec design runs cool to help extend tool life.
- The driver includes a custom-milled aluminum clutch plate for mounting.
