Goodway GVC-390 for Light-Duty Detail Cleaning

The Goodway GVC-390 commercial dry steam cleaner is a compact unit for removing oils and grease from steam-compatible surfaces without cleaning chemicals. Heat from dry steam kills bacteria, fungus, mold and mildew on contact. Its 1,700 W boiler reaches a boiler temperature of 311 °F. This is the temperature inside the boiler; the temperature at the surface being cleaned is not guaranteed. The unit suits intermittent detail work, with adjustable steam output and a compact size. Plan for manual refills between cleaning sessions.

GVC-390 Steam Control and Refill Planning

The GVC-390 has a low, medium and high electronic selector and an output steam pressure range of 0–56 PSI. It does not support continuous fill, so allow time for refill interruptions.

  • Adjust steam output - Choose an electronic setting to suit the steam-compatible surface and soil conditions. Check the surface manufacturer's care requirements before applying heat.
  • Check electrical requirements - The cleaner requires 13 amps, 120 V, 60 Hz AC. Confirm the intended circuit can accommodate it alongside other equipment in the work area.
  • Allow time for refills - The water tank holds 1.3 gal (5 L), and boiler capacity is 0.65 gal. Indicator lights show power status or when refilling is needed. Follow the operating instructions when refilling.
  • Check weight and dimensions - Net dry weight is 11 lb, excluding water. The unit measures 10.5 in H x 11 in W x 17 in D. Use these dimensions to check storage space and room at the job site.
  • Position the unit within reach - The 72 in (183 cm) hose connects to the steam gun for directed cleaning. Place the unit where the hose can reach the intended surfaces.

GVC-390 Applications in Hotels and Small Facilities

In hotels, the supplied detail brushes, extension tubes and squeegee can be used on steam-compatible bathroom fixtures, floor edges and glass where the surface manufacturer permits steam cleaning. Retail stores, convenience stores, veterinary clinics and dental offices can use the cleaner for light-duty surface maintenance. Choose attachments according to material sensitivity. In small manufacturing facilities and commercial kitchens, the nozzle and brushes direct steam at localized grease and oil deposits on compatible equipment exteriors and work surfaces. Keep the work light-duty, and follow the facility's established sanitation procedures for food-contact or clinical surfaces.
