+1 (978) 295-7538Plan Scheduled Steam Cleaning With the Goodway GVC-1100
The Goodway GVC-1100 commercial dry steam cleaner uses heat to remove oils, grime and dirt without cleaning chemicals. Its 1,650 W boiler operates at 340 °F and delivers output steam at 290 °F, with pressure selectable up to 105 PSI. Dry steam kills bacteria, fungus, mold and mildew on contact through heat. The unit does not offer continuous fill, so facility managers and janitorial contractors need to allow time for tank refills between runs.
GVC-1100 Steam Settings and Refill Planning
The digital interface has a readable display and controls for adjusting the steam level to suit the task. Before choosing the GVC-1100, check your electrical supply and where refill pauses will fit into your cleaning schedule.
- Adjust steam pressure - Use the digital controls to select output pressure up to 105 PSI and change the setting between cleaning tasks.
- Allow time for refills - The water tank holds 1.3 gal (5 L), and the boiler capacity is 0.6 gal. The unit has no continuous fill, so the tank needs refilling between runs.
- Check the power supply - Input requirements are 12.5 amps, 115 V, 50/60 Hz AC, with 1,800 W maximum input. Check that the power supply in the work area matches these requirements.
- Check hose reach - The 83 in (211 cm) hose connects the steam gun to the unit. Position the cleaner within reach of the counters, fixtures or machinery being cleaned.
- Plan for transport and storage - The unit measures 12 in H x 12 in W x 16 in D and weighs 15.3 lb net dry. Account for its size when choosing storage space and its dry weight when planning moves between work areas.
GVC-1100 Tools for Kitchens, Hotels and Manufacturing Floors
In commercial kitchens and food and beverage plants, the included nozzle and circular brushes clean accessible, steam-compatible surfaces where oils and grime accumulate. Hotels and schools can use the extension tubes, rectangular brush and pads for floor cleaning, and the triangular tools for work around edges. On manufacturing floors and in auto shops, operators can choose nylon or bronze brushes to suit the surface and soil. Check material compatibility before use. The supplied squeegee and Thermofiber towels can be used for surface finishing as part of the facility's cleaning procedure.
