Where the Triton Is Deployed

How does the Ebac Triton differ from the Ebac Neptune?
Both remove 52 PPD and use hot-gas defrost. The Triton is taller (29" vs 15" H) with large rugged wheels and weighs 75 lbs, making it easier to roll between rooms. The Neptune is more compact at 60 lbs and 15" tall — better for tight spaces. The Triton uses R22 refrigerant; the Neptune uses R407c.
Does the Triton have an integral pump?
Yes, the Ebac Triton has an integral condensate pump with a pump purge switch. Ebac lists a quick release hose coupling and a 25 ft PVC drain hose for the Ebac Triton (part 11393GR-US).
Can the Triton run in a cold basement below 40°F?
Yes. The hot-gas defrost allows continuous operation down to 33°F. The defrost cycle does not interrupt the drying process, so it maintains moisture removal even in near-freezing unheated spaces.
How do I clean the Triton's air filter?
The Triton includes a washable air filter. Remove the filter, rinse with clean water, allow it to dry completely, and reinstall. Ebac recommends cleaning the filter regularly during active use to maintain airflow and extraction efficiency.
