Ebac RM40 dehumidifier takes out a typical 24 pints of moisture per day and covers an effective volume of 3,000 cubic feet. It rolls on castors, so a contractor or building manager can move it from room to room as damp spots show up. You can let it fill its internal water container or connect a hose for continuous drainage.

Ebac RM40 Controls and Water Handling

The front OLED display and LED status panel show what the unit is doing without guesswork. For water, you choose between emptying a container and running a drain line. The container suits short stays in one room, while the hose makes more sense for a long-term setup next to a floor drain.

Sold as a whole-house HVAC dehumidifier, the unit works in any space up to 3,000 cubic feet with an operating range of 33°F to 95°F. That range covers unheated rooms in winter as well as warm, humid ones in summer. At 42 lbs and 15" W × 14" D × 25" H, the Ebac RM40 is easy to wheel through a doorway. It plugs into a standard 110V outlet, drawing 3.3 A, and runs at a rated 47 dBA.
