D2327 Demo Hammer Shroud for Jackhammers and Hammer Drills

Breaking concrete is the dustiest thing on a site and the hardest to shroud, because the bit moves and the debris is coarse. The D2327 is a flexible rubber shroud that surrounds the chisel or bit and pulls dust at the point of impact, and it fits nearly all jackhammers and hammer drills.

D2327 Fit, Ends and Weight

Two interchangeable ends cover the two bit profiles crews actually run.

  • Fits nearly all jackhammers and hammer drills — universal rubber design instead of a per-model bracket
  • Standard end and chisel end included — swap to match the bit in the hammer
  • Elastic rubber construction — flexes with the tool instead of cracking under hammer vibration

D2327 Applications and Environments

Demolition crews use it on concrete breaking, tile and thinset removal and asphalt work; utility contractors on trenching and foundation removal. Interior demo in occupied buildings is where it matters most, because a hammer without capture fills a floor with respirable dust in minutes. It ships with the shroud, standard end, chisel end, 8" hose, 4" hose, hook and loop strap and a hose clamp, and it is designed to help contractors meet OSHA's respirable crystalline silica standard (29 CFR 1926.1153) when paired with an appropriately rated vacuum.
