Gas cut-off saws are the hardest tool to control dust on, because the cut is fast and the saw is nowhere near a power outlet. The DustBull clamps to saws already in the fleet and gives them a 2-inch vacuum connection, capturing up to 90% of the dust generated cutting hardscape and slab.

D1765 Applications and Environments
Hardscape and flatwork crews cutting pavers, slab and curb use the DustBull where the work is outdoors but still inside a silica exposure plan. Utility and trenching contractors run it on saw cuts through roadway and sidewalk. It ships as the DustBull, universal mounting bracket and bolt kit, and it is designed to help contractors meet OSHA's respirable crystalline silica standard (29 CFR 1926.1153) when paired with an appropriately rated vacuum. Dustless notes that the 90% capture figure applies when the shroud is used with objective data supporting the exposure control method.
