The 5-inch CutBuddie is the version that fits the grinder most crews already carry. It encloses a 5-inch wheel on a 4.5- to 6-inch angle grinder for tuckpointing, crack chasing and tile cutting, capturing up to 99% of the dust at the wheel.
D1730 Cut Depth and Collar Range

D1730 Applications and Environments
Masons run it for tuckpointing brick and block; restoration crews use it for crack chasing before epoxy injection; tile contractors cut ceramic, porcelain and stone with it. Dustless specifies 25 CFM of vacuum per inch of wheel diameter for full capture, so a 5-inch wheel wants roughly 125 CFM behind it. It ships with the CutBuddie, an 18" adapter hose, a 5/8" arbor extender with adapter, three spacing washers and a releasable tie, and it is designed to help contractors meet OSHA's respirable crystalline silica standard (29 CFR 1926.1153) when paired with an appropriately rated vacuum.
