Same 7-inch shroud as the D1850, packaged for a shelf rather than a jobsite crate and supplied without the hose kit. This is the version to stock when the buyer already owns hose and only needs the shroud.
D0850 What It Is and What It Is Not
The distinction is packaging and contents, not performance.
- Shroud only, no hose kit — order the D1850 instead when the adapter hose and spacing washers are needed
- Retail blister packaging — hangs on a rack for counter and rental-desk sales
- Patented floating head with brushes — same head as the hose-kit version, follows an uneven slab
- Removable front edge — flush grinding against walls and corners

D0850 Applications and Environments
Rental counters, contractor supply shelves and fleet stores carry the retail pack because a crew that has broken a shroud mid-job wants the shroud, not another hose. Concrete surface prep, coating removal and masonry smoothing are the same applications as the D1850. Dustless specifies 25 CFM of vacuum per inch of wheel diameter for full capture, so a 7-inch wheel wants roughly 175 CFM, and the vacuum connection is made with hose the buyer supplies. It is designed to help contractors meet OSHA's respirable crystalline silica standard (29 CFR 1926.1153) when paired with an appropriately rated vacuum.

Shipping & Returns

Freight deliveries: inspect your equipment on arrival and note any damage on the delivery receipt. Items damaged in transit or defective on arrival are fully covered at no cost to you.
Cancellations: cancel any time before your order ships. Refunds are issued for the order total minus the non-refundable payment processing fee (2.9% + $0.30), so a cancellation is not always a 100% refund. No fee is deducted if we cancel the order or the item arrives damaged or defective.
