The LT strips the CutBuddie back to a single moulded body — fewer parts, lower cost, same job. It fits 4- to 6-inch hand grinders, takes blades up to 6 inches, and cuts to 1.75 inches deep, which is deeper than the standard 5-inch CutBuddie.
D0730 Depth, Nose and Construction
Unibody construction is the trade: less adjustment, less to break, lower price.
- Adjustable cutting depth to 1.75 inches — deeper than the 5" CutBuddie's 1.2 inches
- Fits most 4" to 6" hand grinders — takes blades up to 6 inches
- Unibody polycarbonate — one moulded body rather than an assembly, at 0.89 lb
- Front plunge nose — rolls smoothly into the start of a cut instead of skating
- Maintained line of sight — the streamlined body keeps the blade visible
- Spacer kit, arbor adapter and stepped adapter included — sets blade position and matches hose sizes
D0730 Applications and Environments
Masonry crews use it for tuckpointing and crack chasing; concrete contractors for control cuts and surface prep. It is made in the USA. Dustless states the LT addresses OSHA Table 1 requirements for silica dust containment, and it is designed to help contractors meet OSHA's respirable crystalline silica standard (29 CFR 1926.1153) when paired with an appropriately rated vacuum. It ships with the shroud, spacer kit, arbor adapter and stepped adapter — connect it to a vacuum through the 1-1/4" ID, 1-1/2" OD port.
