Cutting control joints and patch lines on flatwork means dragging a shroud across concrete you are trying not to damage. The FlatWork version of the DustBuddie rides on polyethylene sliders instead of feet, so the shroud glides rather than scuffs, and it fits saws already on the truck.
D0084 Surface Protection and Saw Fit
The sliders are what separate this from the standard saw shroud.

Renovation crews use it for interior slab cuts where dust travel matters more than cut speed. It ships as the FlatWork DustBuddie, universal mounting bracket and bolt kit, and it is designed to help contractors meet OSHA's respirable crystalline silica standard (29 CFR 1926.1153) when paired with an appropriately rated vacuum, with Dustless noting the capture figure applies when used with objective data.
