+1 (978) 295-7538Pro HEPA 6EB HV103 — backpack HEPA vacuum for lead and silica cleanup
The Pro HEPA 6EB carries its filtration stack on the operator's back, so the filter travels with the wand instead of sitting across the room on a wheeled tank. Delfin built the HV103 for renovation, abatement and post-construction crews who clean stairwells, ledges, ductwork and equipment bays where a drum vacuum cannot follow. At 10.5 lbs with a 6-quart bag, it trades tank volume for reach, and the tool kit that ships with it covers floors, corners and upholstery without a second purchase.
Delfin HV103 filtration and operator load
On a regulated jobsite, the filter stack and the harness decide whether a backpack vacuum finishes the shift.
- Certified HEPA filtration — a HEPA filter tested and certified at 99.97% efficiency at 0.3 microns sits behind a cloth pre-filter and a disposable paper bag, so exhaust air stays clean in rooms that are still occupied
- EPA RRP approved — cleared for lead-based paint particle removal, the compliance line most renovation contractors have to satisfy before a vacuum goes on the job
- Padded harness with lower-back support — shifts weight off the shoulders and leaves both arms free for the wand, which matters on ladder work and overhead passes
- 1.7 HP two-stage motor — 104 CFM and 100 inches of water lift, enough to pull settled drywall and plaster dust off hard floors and out of track and channel
- 60 dB(A) sound level — quiet enough to run in school corridors and healthcare wings during occupied hours
- Six tools in the box — hose, aluminum wand, floor tool, crevice tool, round dust brush and upholstery tool
- 1.5-inch suction inlet — the common commercial hose size, so replacement tools are easy to source
Pro HEPA 6EB applications and environments
Renovation and lead abatement contractors use the HV103 for final cleanup after paint disturbance, where EPA RRP work practices call for HEPA capture rather than a shop vacuum. Delfin also specifies the Pro HEPA line for crystalline silica dust generated by cutting, grinding and drilling on construction and restoration sites. In schools, hospitals, hotels and office buildings, the backpack format lets a single operator clear stairwells, elevator tracks and the tops of door frames in one pass instead of dragging a tank behind them. Janitorial teams working night shifts in occupied buildings tend to pick it for the 60 dB rating and the free-arm harness. It is a dry pick-up machine; standing water and slurry need a wet/dry unit.
