Pro HEPA 10 HV105 — 10-gallon dry HEPA vacuum for asbestos and lead work

The Pro HEPA 10 is the dry pick-up machine in Delfin's Pro HEPA line, built around a 2 HP two-stage bypass motor and a certified HEPA filter for crews collecting asbestos debris, lead dust and construction fines. A 10-gallon blow-molded tank on four plate casters keeps the footprint small enough to work a single room, and the 50-foot cord covers a floor plate without hunting for the next outlet. Compared with the 6-quart backpack in the same line, the HV105 gives up wearability for more than six times the tank volume and a stronger two-stage bypass motor.

Delfin HV105 filtration, tank and power layout

On a dry abatement machine, the filter sequence and the tool-triggered outlet do most of the work.

  • Tested and certified HEPA filter — 99.97% efficiency at 0.3 microns, with a Dacron filter bag, spacer sleeve and polyester pre-filter upstream so the HEPA element is not the first thing to load up
  • Disposable synthetic filter bag — collected material leaves the machine inside the bag, which keeps the operator out of the debris during disposal
  • Auxiliary 115 V outlet on the motorhead — the switch has a tool position, so plugging a sander or grinder into the outlet runs the vacuum whenever the tool runs and dust is captured at the source
  • 2 HP two-stage bypass motor — 110 CFM and 105 inches of water lift, with self-cooling airflow that keeps motor temperature down through long runs
  • Blow-molded tank on four plate casters — stays stable when it is full and takes knocks that dent a steel drum
  • 50-foot power cord — one outlet covers a large bay, a corridor run or a full apartment turn
  • Five tools in the box — hose, two-piece steel wand, floor tool, crevice tool and round dust brush

Pro HEPA 10 applications and environments

Abatement and restoration contractors run the HV105 on asbestos and lead-paint cleanup, where Delfin rates the filter for hazardous material collection and the machine exceeds the EPA RRP rule for lead dust recovery. Drywall and concrete crews connect it to sanders and grinders through the motorhead outlet to capture dust at the tool instead of sweeping it up afterward. Facility maintenance teams in warehouses, food plants and school districts use it for overhead cleaning of beams, pipe runs and light fixtures, since the 1.5-inch inlet takes standard wands and the tank rolls between rooms on its own casters. It is a dry-only machine: liquids belong in the wet/dry Pro HEPA 20.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the Pro HEPA 10 pick up liquids?
No. The HV105 is a dry pick-up machine only. For water, slurry or wet debris, the Pro HEPA 20 (HV107) has a 20-gallon tank, a drain hose and an automatic liquid shut-off built for it.
What does the auxiliary outlet on the motorhead do?
It is a 115 V outlet you plug a sander, grinder or saw into. The motorhead switch has a tool position, so the vacuum runs whenever the tool runs and dust is captured where it is generated instead of being swept up afterward.
Is the HV105 suitable for asbestos and lead-paint cleanup?
Delfin rates the tested and certified HEPA filter for safe collection of hazardous material including asbestos and lead paint, and states that the machine exceeds EPA's Renovation, Repair and Painting rule for lead dust recovery. Match it against your site's written control plan before use.
What is the tank capacity, weight and cord length?
A 10-gallon blow-molded tank on four plate casters, 38 lbs, and a 50-foot power cord. The cord length is what lets one operator cover a large bay or a full apartment turn without hunting for another outlet.
How does the Pro HEPA 10 differ from the Pro HEPA 20?
Both run the same 2 HP two-stage bypass motor at 110 CFM and 105 inches of water lift. The HV105 is dry-only with a 10-gallon tank at 38 lbs. The HV107 doubles capacity to 20 gallons, adds wet pick-up with a drain hose and liquid shut-off, and weighs 66 lbs.
What does the HV105 collect debris into?
A disposable synthetic Dacron filter bag, with a spacer sleeve and a polyester pre-filter between it and the HEPA element. Material leaves the machine inside the bag, which keeps the operator out of the debris at disposal and stops the HEPA filter from loading up first.
