+1 (978) 295-7538DP-USC1211 Carpet and Upholstery Extractor for Healthcare and Allergy-Sensitive Spaces
The DP-USC1211 combines three cleaning functions in one commercial extractor: steam cleaning for high-temperature soil release, spray-vacuum extraction to deliver and recover solution, and an integrated mite removal system for allergen reduction in carpet and soft furnishings. It fits healthcare, hospitality, and other environments where allergen control is part of the cleaning standard.
DP-USC1211 Features for Allergen-Controlled Cleaning
- Integrated mite removal — targets active mite colonies living in fabric, which standard extraction leaves behind
- Steam cleaning — uses high-temperature vapor to loosen bonded soils and sanitize fiber, working on protein-based stains and bacteria in carpet
- Spray-vacuum extraction — meters solution and recovers it with suction in the same stroke, clearing water-soluble soils and rinsing steam residue
- Carpet and upholstery reach — one machine services both floor carpet and upholstered furniture
DP-USC1211 Applications and Environments
Dust mites are a primary allergen source in upholstered furniture, mattresses, and carpet. Standard extraction pulls out mite feces and shed skin, the actual allergen, but does not kill active colonies in the fabric. The mite removal system on the DP-USC1211 works at the fabric level to address those colonies. In healthcare and senior-care facilities, where respiratory allergy management is part of the care standard, that capability supports infection-control records; in hotels, it reduces complaints from guests sensitive to allergens in upholstered furniture.
Steam and spray-vacuum work as complementary stages. Steam breaks the bond between soil and fiber and sanitizes the surface, while spray-vacuum delivers metered solution and recovers it along with the emulsified soil and rinse water. Running steam pre-treatment first and following with a spray-vacuum rinse pass produces cleaner carpet than either stage alone, because the soil-fiber bond is already broken by the time the extraction stroke removes it. This suits medical suites, patient rooms, hotel guest rooms, and lobbies where both carpet and seating need cleaning on the same route.
Handling carpet and upholstery from one unit also cuts the equipment a crew has to move and store. Instead of pairing a floor extractor with a separate upholstery tool, an operator cleans a room's carpet and then its chairs, sofas, or mattress with the same machine, keeping the allergen-control standard consistent across every soft surface in the space and reducing the setup and teardown time on each stop.
