Does the reactivation exhaust need to be ducted outside?

Yes. The MP-100's reactivation air stream carries the moisture extracted from the process air and exits as warm, humid exhaust. This exhaust must be ducted to the building exterior. Dumping the reactivation exhaust back into the conditioned space returns the extracted moisture and eliminates the dehumidification effect entirely.

What does the differential air pressure switch do?

The differential air pressure switch monitors the pressure drop across the MP-100's air path. If a filter becomes blocked, a fan fails, or airflow drops below the operating threshold for any reason, the switch triggers an alarm or initiates a controlled shutdown. This protects the reactivation heater from overtemperature and alerts facility staff to a maintenance condition — a filter blockage in an unattended installation would otherwise go undetected until equipment damage occurred.

Can the desiccant rotor be serviced in the field?
