Aerospace America 9180 Mighty Mite Air Scrubber with a Narrow 18-Inch Footprint

The 9180 Mighty Mite moves up to 1850 CFM through three-stage HEPA filtration in a body only 18 inches wide, so it fits through standard doorways and into tight stacks. It runs the same 1.0 HP two-speed motor as the wider 9143 but in a 24 x 16 filter format that keeps the footprint slim. Restoration crews working hallways, stairwells, and crowded job sites pick it when a 26-inch-wide unit will not maneuver.

A 1.0 HP two-speed motor on a 2000 AMCA-rated direct-drive blower delivers high-volume airflow from a narrow chassis.

  • 1850 CFM on high, 1200 CFM on low — strong air movement on high, quiet polishing on low from one switch.
  • 18-inch width — clears standard doorways and fits where wider scrubbers cannot stage.
  • 24 x 16 three-stage media — pre-filter and ring panel protect the 24 x 16 HEPA final stage.
  • 1.0 HP two-speed thermal-protected motor — thermal cutoff shuts the motor down on overheat instead of failing.
  • 9.4 running amps at 115V — runs on standard site power.

9180 Applications and Environments

The 9180 fits water-damage and mold work in hallways, stairwells, multi-unit residential, and any site where door width and staging space are tight. The 94 lb aircraft-aluminum body rolls on two swivel and two rigid heavy-duty casters with four lift handles. The 1.8 running static pressure and AMCA-rated blower keep airflow steady as the 24 x 16 filters load. For jobs that need an audible filter-change alarm, the 9180FF Full Feature is the same machine with a red LED warning light and audio alarm.
