XERO Pre-Filter Housing O-Ring is a replacement seal for your pre-filter housing. It is made from durable rubber, comes pre-lubricated, and measures 3.5 inches in diameter. The seal helps prevent housing leaks.
XERO Pre-Filter Housing O-Ring Installation and Lubrication
Install the XERO Pre-Filter Housing O-Ring by sliding off the old O-ring and sliding the new one into place. Follow the housing's service instructions and inspect the sealing area while the old seal is removed.
- Pre-lubricated rubber: Arrives with lubricant already applied.
- 3.5 inches in diameter: Compare this measurement with the seal you need.
- Slide-on replacement: Slide off the old O-ring and fit the new one in its place.
- Housing seal: Helps prevent leaks at the pre-filter housing.
Lubrication helps extend O-ring life. The vendor recommends a PTFE-based lubricant for this application. After reassembly, check the housing for leaks before returning the purification system to service.
