Ultra 250E Electric Steam Cleaner — 250 PSI Fume-Free Steam for Indoor Enclosed Spaces
The Ultra 250E delivers 250 PSI at 255–275°F output temperature using electric heat rather than propane — the critical difference for fully enclosed indoor environments where combustion fumes cannot be tolerated. It connects to a standard garden hose for water supply and requires 208/220/480VAC, 3-phase power (52/28 amps). Because it generates no fumes, it is USDA allowable — suitable for food processing areas, clean rooms, and occupied facilities where the propane models are inappropriate. Same 0.5–1.5 GPM adjustable flow, 50 ft high-pressure steam hose included.
Ultra 250E Steam Output, PSI, and Electric Heat
The choice between the 250E and the propane Ultra 250 is determined by the facility: propane requires ventilation, electric requires 3-phase power. For fully enclosed facilities with 3-phase supply, the 250E is the appropriate configuration.
-
250 PSI output pressure (17 bar) — same pressure as propane Ultra 250; penetrates grease and scale on equipment surfaces
-
255–275°F output temperature — slightly lower than the propane model's 350°F but still well above the 212°F thermal sanitization threshold
-
21kW electric heating element (72,000 BTU/hr) — equivalent output to the propane burner; heats rapidly from cold start
-
0.5–1.5 GPM adjustable flow — same range as the propane Ultra 250; dial down for delicate surfaces
-
Hot or cold water input — connects to standard garden hose; accepts up to 140°F input water to reduce heating time
-
50 ft high-pressure steam hose included — longer standard reach than the propane model (25 ft)
Ultra 250E Applications and Environments
Fully enclosed food processing facilities — bakeries, dairy operations, beverage manufacturing — use the 250E where propane combustion is not permitted under USDA facility inspection. Pharmaceutical manufacturing clean rooms require fume-free cleaning equipment; the 250E generates only water vapor. Hospital sterile processing areas and operating room equipment cleaning use it for chemical-free sanitation where residue from chemical sanitizers creates contamination risk. KOSHER-certified kitchens and food operations that must avoid open-flame equipment in production areas rely on the electric model. Any facility with 3-phase electrical service and no outdoor access uses the 250E over the propane alternatives.
Ultra 250E Steam Temperature, PSI, and Dry-Steam Output
Output temperature: 255–275°F (120–140°C). Input water accepted up to 140°F (60°C) — preheated water reduces heating element load and speeds startup. Output pressure: 250 PSI (17 bar). Water volume: 0.5–1.5 GPM adjustable. Heating element: 21kW / 72,000 BTU/hr. Ships with: 4 ft wand with trigger gun, blast nozzle, fan nozzle (Ultra 250 spec), 50 ft high-pressure steam hose, 25 ft high-pressure steam hose, instructional manual and DVD. USDA allowable — no combustion fumes generated. Safety features: pressure relief valve, flow switch, high pressure limit switch.
