+1 (978) 295-7538Sandia 10-0175 16-Inch Carpet Tool with Brush and Swivel for Raven Backpack Vacuums
The Sandia 10-0175 is a 16" carpet tool with an integrated brush and swivel joint for Raven 10-series backpack vacuum cleaners. The swivel joint allows the tool head to pivot during directional changes, reducing wand torque and making tight-area carpet cleaning more maneuverable than a fixed-neck tool.
16-Inch Width, Carpet Brush, and Swivel Joint
- 16" cleaning width — wider than standard 14" tools for faster open-area coverage
- Carpet bristle brush — agitates embedded dirt from carpet pile for improved extraction
- Swivel joint — tool head pivots during direction changes, reducing wrist strain
- Fits Sandia Raven 10-series wand and hose connections
When a Swivel Head Improves Carpet Cleaning
In carpeted areas with furniture, fixed-neck carpet tools require the operator to lift and reposition the tool to change direction, which interrupts the cleaning stroke and slows coverage rate. A swivel-neck tool follows direction changes naturally, allowing U-turns between furniture legs and around chair bases without lifting. This is most noticeable in hotel rooms, office workstations, and retail fitting rooms where the operator must change direction frequently in a small footprint. The carpet brush agitation on the 10-0175 also improves dirt extraction compared to a bare-opening tool, particularly in medium and high-pile carpets where embedded debris requires mechanical agitation to release.
Filtration Rating
The 10-0175 carpet tool has no built-in filtration. Particle capture is handled by the Raven backpack's HEPA filter (10-0219-10-N, 99.97% at 0.3 microns).
