Single RO/DI system supplies purified water for water-fed window cleaning using tap pressure. Its sediment, chloramine, RO and DI filtration stages sit on a wheeled frame that you can move between the vehicle and work area.
Single RO/DI System Water Supply and Filtration
At a source pressure of 50 PSI, the system produces between .5 and 1 GPM at elevations up to 50 feet. The vendor recommends a water-fed output hose with a diameter of at least 5/16 inches. Check your source pressure and hose size when setting up the system.
Incoming water passes through sediment and chloramine filters before reaching the RO membrane, which removes 98% of total dissolved solids. The DI stage then brings the TDS level down to 0. Use the included TDS meter to check the water.
Single RO/DI System Handling and Connections
The Single RO/DI System connects with standard garden hose fittings and brass quick connections. The RO membrane has a stainless steel housing, and the remaining filters have plastic housings. Flat-free wheels and rubber hand grips help you move the unit. It can operate flat or upright, with rubber feet supporting it in the upright position. The powder-coated steel frame is rust-resistant.
