RO Guardian helps prevent bacterial growth inside an RO membrane while the system is idle. It is a dry, stable, non-reactive powder for membrane preservation during short-term shutdowns and extended storage. It is compatible with all RO membrane sizes.
RO Guardian Preparation and Application
Dilute RO Guardian with one gallon of distilled water, or use RV antifreeze when freezing conditions are anticipated. Open the RO housing cap and pour the prepared solution onto the membrane. Seal the waste port to keep the solution within the membrane until you use the system again.
- Dry powder format for mixing before use.
- Membrane preservation helps control bacterial growth while equipment is idle.
- Rinsable treatment can be rinsed away when you restart the system.
