Buying a central vacuum power unit on its own leaves the installer sourcing a hose, a power nozzle and the tools separately, and those parts decide how the system actually cleans. The PLCCV12K ships as a complete kit: the steel power unit plus the electric hose and power nozzle set. The unit mounts on a wall bracket and connects to standard inlet piping, so it goes in as a replacement on an existing run as readily as into a new install.
