The SRAT5A pairs a 1.2 hp pneumatic motor with a 5-inch floating-head vacuum shroud, so you grind concrete and steel while the dust goes into your vacuum instead of into the air. The shroud floats independently of the motor, keeping the disc flat against the slab as the surface rises and falls. For crews running compressed air on the job site, the air drive removes the heat and duty-cycle limits that come with electric tools, so you can grind through a full shift without stopping to let a motor cool.

An air motor has no windings to overheat, so the SRAT5A holds production on continuous grinding and coating removal where an electric unit would throttle back. It needs 30 SCFM at 90 PSI through a 3/8" inlet, which a standard tow-behind or shop compressor supplies.
- Floating head keeps the 5" disc flat to the surface as the slab profile changes, so you cut evenly without gouging or rocking the tool.
- 5" disc fits tight to walls, columns, and edge work where a 7" head will not reach; trades reach into corners the larger model leaves behind.
