The Novatek RPT4AF is a 4" pneumatic hand-held scarifier fitted with tungsten-carbide-coated 3M RotoPeen flaps and an integrated vacuum shroud. The 4" cutting width abrades paint, rust, and thin coatings to a bare-metal, shot-blast-style profile across wide horizontal areas in fewer passes. The 1.5" vacuum port captures dust at the source.
How the RPT4AF Profiles Faster
The 1.2 HP air motor spins the 4" flap hub at 2,700 RPM, peening twice the surface width of the 2" model so decks and floors reach a uniform recoat profile quickly. At 9 lbs it stays manageable for a 4" head while delivering high production on flat work. The quick-change hub converts to a star-cutter hub in minutes for heavy removal.

RPT4AF Applications and Environments
Use the RPT4AF for high-production coating removal and recoat profiling on ship and barge decks, bridge decks, and concrete floors. It strips floor markings and line stripes over large areas, lifts non-slip coatings, and supports contained lead-paint removal on dust-controlled, SSPC-NACE surface-prep sites.

Shipping & Returns
Free shipping on most brands for orders over $300, delivered to the lower 48 states. Any brand-specific freight rate is shown at checkout before you pay.

Freight deliveries: inspect your equipment on arrival and note any damage on the delivery receipt. Items damaged in transit or defective on arrival are fully covered at no cost to you.
Cancellations: cancel any time before your order ships. Refunds are issued for the order total minus a non-refundable payment processing fee, which may apply, so a cancellation is not always a 100% refund. No fee is deducted if we cancel the order or the item arrives damaged or defective.
