The Novatek RPT4AC is a 4" pneumatic hand-held scarifier fitted with carbon-steel star cutters and an integrated vacuum shroud. The wider 4" cutting width doubles the path of the 2" model for faster coverage on open horizontal surfaces, while the star cutters fracture mill scale, rust, and thick coatings on steel and concrete. The 1.5" vacuum port captures debris at the source.
How the RPT4AC Covers Ground Faster
The 4" star-cutter hub strikes twice the surface width per pass as the 2" head, so the 1.2 HP air motor at 2,700 RPM clears decks and floors in fewer passes. The trade-off is weight: at 13.25 lbs the 4" head is best used flat. The quick-change hub converts to a 3M flap hub in minutes when you move from heavy removal to recoat profiling.

RPT4AC Applications and Environments
Use the RPT4AC for high-production coating removal and profiling on ship and barge decks, bridge decks, and concrete floors. It strips line stripes and floor markings across large areas, lifts non-slip coatings, and handles contained lead-paint removal on dust-controlled, SSPC-NACE surface-prep sites.

Shipping & Returns

Freight deliveries: inspect your equipment on arrival and note any damage on the delivery receipt. Items damaged in transit or defective on arrival are fully covered at no cost to you.
Cancellations: cancel any time before your order ships. Refunds are issued for the order total minus a non-refundable payment processing fee, which may apply, so a cancellation is not always a 100% refund. No fee is deducted if we cancel the order or the item arrives damaged or defective.
