The Novatek RPT2EF is a 2" electric hand-held scarifier fitted with tungsten-carbide-coated 3M RotoPeen flaps and an integrated vacuum shroud. The 1,200-watt 110V motor spins the flap hub to abrade paint, rust, and thin coatings to a bare-metal, shot-blast-style finish. Electric drive removes the compressor from the work face, and the 1.5" vacuum port captures dust at the source. At 11 lbs the 2" head suits vertical and overhead prep.
How the RPT2EF Flap Hub Works
The 3M flaps peen the surface as the 110V motor drives the hub, stripping coatings without gouging the substrate to leave a uniform recoat profile on steel and concrete. Running on standard site power, the RPT2EF is the electric counterpart to the air RPT2AF for crews working where compressed air is not practical.

RPT2EF Applications and Environments
Use the RPT2EF to remove coatings and lay a recoat profile on bridge and deck steel, structural members, and concrete where air is not available. It strips floor markings and line stripes, lifts non-slip coatings, and feathers patches on dust-controlled, SSPC-NACE surface-prep sites including contained lead-paint removal.

Shipping & Returns
