The Novatek RPT2EC is a 2" electric hand-held scarifier fitted with carbon-steel star cutters and an integrated vacuum shroud. The 1,200-watt 110V motor drives the star-cutter hub to fracture mill scale, rust, and thick coatings on steel and concrete. The electric drive removes the need for a compressor at the work face, and the 1.5" vacuum port captures debris at the source.
How the RPT2EC Star-Cutter Setup Cuts
The star cutters strike the surface to chip away hard material rather than abrade it, making the RPT2EC the choice for heavy removal where 3M flaps glaze over. With a 110V supply at 1,200 watts, it runs on standard site power instead of shop air. The 2" head and 14 lb weight keep the tool controllable on columns and tight sections.

RPT2EC Applications and Environments
Use the RPT2EC for coating removal and profiling on bridge and deck steel, structural members, and concrete where compressed air is not available. It strips line stripes and floor markings, lifts non-slip coatings, and handles contained lead-paint removal on dust-controlled, SSPC-NACE surface-prep sites.

Shipping & Returns

Cancellations: cancel any time before your order ships. Refunds are issued for the order total minus a non-refundable payment processing fee, which may apply, so a cancellation is not always a 100% refund. No fee is deducted if we cancel the order or the item arrives damaged or defective.
