The Novatek RPT2AK is the kit configuration of the 2" pneumatic hand-held scarifier. It pairs the RotoPeen tool with both cutting hubs so one purchase covers aggressive removal and recoat profiling. The star-cutter hub fractures hard scale and thick coatings; the 3M flap hub abrades paint and rust to a shot-blast-style finish. The integrated 1.5" vacuum shroud captures dust on either setup.
What the RPT2AK Kit Adds
Where the single-media RPT2AC and RPT2AF ship with one hub, the RPT2AK bundles the abrasives and hubs needed to convert the 2" tool between star cutters and 3M flaps in minutes. The 1.2 HP air motor drives the head at 2,700 RPM in both modes, so the same tool moves from heavy removal to profiling without a second machine.

RPT2AK Applications and Environments
Use the RPT2AK on contracts that need both heavy coating removal and a recoat profile, such as bridge and deck steel, structural members, and concrete floors. It strips line stripes and floor markings, lifts non-slip coatings, and handles contained lead-paint removal on dust-controlled, SSPC-NACE surface-prep sites.

Shipping & Returns
Free shipping on most brands for orders over $300, delivered to the lower 48 states. Any brand-specific freight rate is shown at checkout before you pay.
Processing & delivery: in-stock orders are processed within 1–2 business days and typically deliver in 5–7 business days. Tracking is emailed within 24 hours of shipment. Built-to-order and backordered equipment shows its lead time on this page.
Freight deliveries: inspect your equipment on arrival and note any damage on the delivery receipt. Items damaged in transit or defective on arrival are fully covered at no cost to you.
Cancellations: cancel any time before your order ships. Refunds are issued for the order total minus a non-refundable payment processing fee, which may apply, so a cancellation is not always a 100% refund. No fee is deducted if we cancel the order or the item arrives damaged or defective.
