The Novatek RPT2AF is a 2" pneumatic hand-held scarifier fitted with tungsten-carbide-coated 3M RotoPeen flaps and an integrated vacuum shroud. The flap hub abrades paint, rust, and thin coatings to a bare-metal finish that imitates a shot-blast profile, while the 1.5" vacuum port captures dust at the source. At 7.5 lbs the 2" head is the lightest air RotoPeen in the line, suited to vertical and overhead surface prep.
How the RPT2AF Flap Hub Works
The 1.2 HP air motor spins the flap hub at 2,700 RPM so the 3M flaps peen the surface, stripping coatings without gouging the substrate. This produces a uniform recoat profile on steel and concrete. When you hit hard scale or thick buildup the quick-change hub converts to a star-cutter hub in minutes for more aggressive removal.

RPT2AF Applications and Environments
Use the RPT2AF to remove coatings and lay down a uniform recoat profile on bridge and deck steel, structural members, and concrete. It strips floor markings and line stripes, lifts non-slip coatings, and feathers patches and welds. The shroud suits dust-controlled sites, SSPC-NACE surface-prep work, and contained lead-paint removal.

Freight deliveries: inspect your equipment on arrival and note any damage on the delivery receipt. Items damaged in transit or defective on arrival are fully covered at no cost to you.
Cancellations: cancel any time before your order ships. Refunds are issued for the order total minus a non-refundable payment processing fee, which may apply, so a cancellation is not always a 100% refund. No fee is deducted if we cancel the order or the item arrives damaged or defective.
