The PHS1VSEHDL pairs the single-piston scaling hammer with a vacuum shroud that captures debris and dust at the impact point. It drives one tungsten carbide cruciform piston at 2,500 blows per minute, the same impact as the open HD-SH1, while a shroud and vacuum port route material to a connected dust collector. The 18-inch handle suits deck, slab, and floor-level work where the operator wants reach and dust containment together.
VSE Single Long Handle: Dust Capture at the Single-Piston Head
The shroud surrounds the cruciform head and connects through a port to a vacuum or dust collector, so coating debris and abrasive dust are pulled away as the piston works. This matters on lead paint, silica-bearing concrete, and enclosed marine or tank jobs where airborne material has to be controlled. Compared with the open HD-SH1, the VSE adds the shroud and port; compared with the 9-inch short version, the long handle adds reach and a more upright stance. The screw-top cap and nylon brush seal carry over for field service.

Concrete: take-down and texturing of slab surfaces with silica dust routed to a collector; aggregate exposure with the optional bush hammer head.
