The Novatek VRS28PG Shroud Scaler Package combines the 28-needle vibration-reduced scaler (VRS) with a vacuum shroud, giving crews the full impact of a 28-needle tool with reduced vibration transmitted to the hand. It runs at 3000 blows per minute and is Novatek's most powerful pistol-grip vibration-reduced scaler. The shroud captures coating, rust, and scale at the surface for a HEPA vacuum, and the VRS dampening lowers the chance of vibration-related injury on long shifts.
What VRS Vibration Reduction Changes on the 28PG
The VRS28PG carries the same 28-needle pack and 3000-BPM impact as the standard range but adds vibration-dampening technology so operators can stay on the tool longer with less hand and arm fatigue. Tool-less needle change-out lets a crew swap or replace needles in the field without tools. Each needle uses a 3mm chisel tip on a 7-inch shank, and the shroud connects to a HEPA vacuum so removed material is drawn off as it loosens. The pistol grip keeps control on vertical and overhead surfaces, and low air consumption keeps it on small, portable compressors.
